He Hit Her Again

He hit her again And left her with bruises. If you just look into her eyes You can feel her pain, You can see how scared she is. And now everytime you touch her Or even give her a hug, She holds her breath Because just the slight touch of someone Brings back the memory of him hitting her. She wants this to stop. She needs it to stop. The yelling and the screaming And most important-the hitting. He hit her again And this time she called the police. He somehow found out And came after her again. But this time, did he not only hit her He killed her And just let her lay there, dead. This had gone on for so long But she had just found the courage And finally tried to help herself. But I guess that it was too late. She was now dead But at least he would not Hit her again...
